2014 Spotlight Awards Twitter Chat Recap

Jul 14

PRSA Portland hosted two Twitter chats on July 16 at 12P and 5:30P, fielding questions on how to prepare a winning Spotlight Awards entry. President-elect Taraneh Fultz, APR, @taranehfultz and chapter member Noe Baker @noebaker moderated. Answering questions on the chat: our 2014 chapter president and three past presidents: Barbara Kerr, APR @barbarakerrapr; Dianne Danowski Smith, APR, Fellow PRSA, @DiannePublixPR; Tom Unger, APR, Fellow PRSA, @TomUngerWF; and Dave Thompson, APR, @DaveT51.

We covered five topics: T1 – How to prepare your entry: The 2-page summary; T2 – How to prepare your entry: What supporting materials you should include; T3 – How entries are judged; T4 – Questions about categories; and T5 – Entry guidelines. We’ve curated some of our favorite notes to share with you.
