Megan, why do you Volunteer with PRSA?
PRSA brings together a diverse community of professionals with a vast array of skills to do the one thing that ties us together: public relations. Whether it is personal PR or for a volunteer position, we are all coming together as a unit to create connections and reach our goals. Having been on the executive team for PRSSA in college, I knew that I wanted to grow my network and build relationships with this group. PRSA is a great way to geek out together with people who understand where you’re coming from in a completely different way than spouses and friends. I volunteer with PRSA because it’s an amazing opportunity to learn from other professionals who have been in the industry for years as well as another opportunity to do what I am passionate about.
