VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH PRSA Volunteer Spotlight, LeAnn Gentry

LeAnn Gentry
Marketing Manager, Venture Portland

“Early in my communications career a mentor suggested I get involved with PRSA. Following her advice, I became involved with PRSA New Pro’s and have been connected with PRSA ever since! Being a part of such an amazing group of public relations professionals has been critical to my career successes – providing meaningful peer connections, rich professional development and an incredible opportunity to make a difference. I appreciate the board’s recognition and would love to share this honor with all of PRSA Portland’s dedicated volunteers!” – LeAnn GentryVOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

The sponsorship committee is looking for volunteers who want to participate in getting customer relationship management (CRM) off the ground or who would like to help on the back-end with fulfillment in 2013. This is a great way to network, since you’ll be speaking directly (not to mention building a relationship) with communications executives who may be in the position to hire you or refer you to another employer down the line. Please reply to Taraneh Fultz at sponsorships@prsa-portland.org.Email news@prsa-portland.org to recommend an outstanding PR or communications colleague for the Member Profile spotlight!
